Service Description
CBManagement is a Chromebook monitoring and filtering service that provides:
- Real-time browsing activity tracking
- Website blocking and filtering capabilities
- Policy management and scheduling
- Usage reports and analytics
- Google Workspace integration
Eligibility
To use CBManagement, you must:
- Be a Google Workspace administrator with appropriate permissions
- Have the authority to monitor devices in your organization
- Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
- Comply with all applicable laws, including COPPA, FERPA, and GDPR where applicable
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Use the Service only for lawful and authorized purposes
- Comply with all applicable privacy laws regarding student data
- Obtain necessary consents from parents/guardians for monitoring minors
- Not attempt to circumvent or disable security features
- Not use the Service to violate the privacy rights of others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your administrator account. We recommend using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication where available. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Data Collection and Use
By using CBManagement, you acknowledge and agree that we will collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have obtained all necessary permissions and consents to monitor users' browsing activity.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of our Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency repairs
- Technical issues beyond our control
- Network or infrastructure problems
We will provide notice of scheduled maintenance when possible.
Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use CBManagement to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful code or malware
- Interfere with the Service's operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use the Service for harassment or discrimination
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of CBManagement, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
CBManagement is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or information
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Errors or omissions in the Service
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CBManagement, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Fail to pay applicable fees (if any)
- Pose a security risk to the Service
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by revoking OAuth permissions through your Google Workspace settings and ceasing to use the Service.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
